Kicking and Screaming - Will Farrell This was a very funny movie for kids and adults alike. Will has a very competitive father growing up and Will was not so competitive and his dad (Robert Duvall) was not happy about it. Will grows up and has his own family and a son. The sons Soccer coach steps down and they make Will the coach and naturally he is pitted against his father's team. I liked this one a lot. It would be one to own.

Lake House - Sandra Bullock & Keanu Reeves I waited forever it seemed for this movie to go on the five bucks club. I was disappointed, it was not what I expected. Very slow moving, I thought the acting was lacking. I made mention to a lady leaving "well that was disappointing wasn't it?" She said,"Really, I thought it was great! This is my second time to watch it" Just goes to show you that different strokes are for different folks. So don't take my word for it, check it out and let me know what you think.


Click - Adam Sandler. Another one I thought would be funny. It is in parts and some of it is ridiculous funny. Do not see this with the kids due to language and sexual scenes and other sexual inuendos. The guy wants a universal remote to make his life easier and gets more than he bargained for. He is a work-aholic and this tool makes things better he thinks until it gets out of control. Does make you think about how much time you really give your family and how much we tend to leave them for the leftovers. It is a must see just for that.

Dreamer - Kurt Russell & Dakota Fanning. This is an excellent movie, I enjoyed it a lot. I want to own this one. Great acting , good story, great plot and all around good movie for kids and adults. I watched this with my granddaughter at home. Ten times better than watching a cartoon. lol

Movies I have seen recently !!

RV - Robin Williams not worth the entry fee. I am ashamed of you Robin I expected more from you. It had its moments but they were few and far between. Actually the redneck campers stole the show. So sad!!

Monster-in-law Jane Fonda and Jolee didn't a great job. Very funny and kept my interest. Anyone who thinks they have a controlling mother in law should watch this and thank there lucky stars. LOL

The Aviator Leonardo pulled off another hit. I knew Mr. Hughes was weird but I didn't think he was this bad. Great job Mr. De Caprio.

Stealth - Was a good movie with a lot of action. Military invented a fighter plane that would fly on its own and follow orders and go in to attack. Computer glitches mean some interesting malfunctions and some people get hurt . A commander goes a little off the deep end and things have to be gotten under control. Must see if you like action!!

Weeping Camel- National Geographic I can't believe I checked it out let alone watch it. But it was interesting in the lives of camels and there farmers or whatever you call them. Some strange culture treatments to make a camel accept its young that it has turned its back on. I'm not telling you have to watch it. Must be able to read cause it has subtitles and they speak in whatever language Mongolians speak in. It was something to stretch my mind with and some little unknown facts I did not know and besides I was bored. When is Survivor due back !!! LOL. Big Brother starts soon!!!

Birth is a Miracle !!!

Whether it be human or nature, I think the process of birth is the greatest miracle there ever will be !! How all those X and Y chromosome come together to make a fully functional , living, breathing identity. Amazes me!!!! A friend sent this to me and if you have children they need to look at this also. Swimming Day also, might be a little chilly for this but some of you are tough, I know .
